WISCONSIN INVENTOR CREATES NEW WINE BOTTLE TOTALLY! NO BOTTOM
The world of wine changed dramatically today as a new wine preservation invention (patent pending) was introduced by MRH Products, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI. To watch the video visit www.qikvin.com! or search YouTube under QikVin.
The QIKVIN WINE PRESS preserves wine from oxidation without use of a vacuum or gases like argon or nitrogen! THE QIKVIN WINE PRESS was invented by winery owner Harald Tomesch of the Chiselled Grape Winery in Cedarburg. The bottle is designed for the modern tasting room, the local restaurant, worldwide distributors and of course wine patrons. The wine bottle or wine preservation system has been redesigned without a bottom. Instead, the moveable (removable) bottom acts like a piston in the high precision glass, steel or plastic bored bottle and this bottle is able to remove all oxygen allowing the wine to be preserved and stored in any amounts until you are ready to enjoy, serve and finish your wine. Think of a syringe and you will begin to understand the mechanism which can be sealed in two ways in the threaded neck of the bottle. The pouring options for the bottle allows you to pour the wine in an aerated and non-aerated fashion or the bottle can be totally sealed off. The advantages are many beginning with a low price point under $100. The QIKVIN WINE PRESS is reusable, uses no gas cartridges, needles or stoppers. It is attractive and may be branded to match a winery or restaurant’s trademark. It looks just like your Bordeaux bottle (other designs are planned) but the wine press bottle was uniquely designed by a German engineer, Marcus Schneider. The QIKVIN WINE PRESS is dish washer safe and is ideal for serving wines at optimal temperatures in graduated amounts required by your wine venue. The piston is pressed through the bottle with a small pump or graduated tele-scope hidden within the piston. The QIKVIN WINE PRESS was conceived by a winery owner for his top-tier award-winning wines and the QIKVIN WINE PRESS showcases that wine in the best possible way. The invention has brought a whole new meaning to the expression “Bottoms Up!” Indeed, we are “Raising Wines to New Heights!”
Mr. Ralph Schmidt, co-inventor, speaking for the newly formed company, MRH Products, Inc. maintains that full production will take place this fall while international investors are secured and licensing agreements are signed. Truly, October 2015 is a month to remember for good old American ingenuity and for a revolution in wine appreciation!
Pre-Orders will soon be taken and wine enthusiasts may sign up for constant contact at qikvin.com!

Midwest Prototyping Inc. complete version 3 – 10/23/2015
Another set of non-FDA prototypes came fresh off the SLA 3D printer this week. Upon completion the owners, engineers, and staff wanted a demonstration of the QikVin. There were stoked! They all asked the right questions and because they see a lot of inventions their interest and compliments were all taken to heart. Very encouraging! The whole crew at Midwest Prototype are delightful to work with! If you have an invention and want it to have legs check them out! https://www.midwestproto.com
